On the event of the first anniversary of the death of the honorary Resident of Yerevan, the USSR People's Artist, the bearer of «Mesrop Mashtots» order, eminent actor Sos Sargsyan hundreds of worshippers of his talent:top officials, public figures and politicians, representatives of the clergy, intellectuals, art workers visited the Pantheon after Komitas together with the members of the actor's family to render the tribute to his memory. The bust of the Master made by sculptor Mkrtich Mazmanyan was placed in the Pantheon the day before.
First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan and the Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan who was the pupil of the Master by the way, also visited the place to render their tribute to the memory of the beloved actor.
