Under the trilateral agreement signed by the mayors of Yerevan and Lyon and the president of Lyon Métropole, the cities are advancing collaboration across five strategic areas: urban development and landscaping, education and youth, healthcare, culture and sports, and sustainable tourism. 
As part of this partnership, Armenian and French students have come together to work on urban planning and green landscaping projects. Their joint efforts will directly contribute to the development of Yerevan’s districts, while also strengthening academic ties between the Lyon School of Architecture (École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Lyon) and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
