Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed a number of employees of Public TV company and Public Radio of Armenia. Congratulating them on the jubilees of Public TV and Public Radio the Mayor said that due to the devotees of the sphere both the radio and the television have been an important part of everybody's life and it still remains irreplaceable.

“Today it's really difficult to imagine our life without television and radio. They have become our household and this is due to all devotees who made any effort to contribute to the establishment and development of television and radio; and handed down their experience and knowledge to generations and as a result today we have numerous TV and radio companies which carry on this work”, said Taron Margaryan and in the person of those present congratulated all the employees of Public TV and Public Radio wishing them uninterrupted air and new achievements. On the event of the 90th anniversary of Public Radio of Armenia, for many-year devoted work Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded honorary diplomas to the journalists of Public Radio Nargiz Hakobyan, Anahit Arakelyan and Anahit Avagyan. On the event of 60th anniversary of Public TV of Armenia, for many-year devoted work the employees of Public TV company Hovhannes Goroyan, Vahagn Mikayelyan, Garnik Tepuchekyan, Arman Pahlavuni, Meruzhan Khachikoghlyan, Armen Nazaryan and Karen Stepanyan were awarded with honorary diplomas too.
