Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan hosted the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to the Republic of Armenia H.E.Ms.Andrea Wiktorin.

Hayk Marutyan congratulated the guest on starting diplomatic mission in Armenia and expressed hope that the frames of the cooperation between the Office of the Head of the EU Delegation and the city authorities can be expanded due to effective teamwork.
Due to financing and consulting support of the European Union a number of projects are being implemented in Yerevan, particularly in the fields of alterative energy development, wastes management, public transport (especially modernization of the Underground) as well as in the sphere of water resources management and others.
Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin noted that the EU Delegation is willing to develop the frames of interaction.
