Ambassador of France to Armenia accompanied by Yerevan First Deputy Mayor visits jubilee exhibition of Modern Art Museum
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia H.E. Ms Anne Louyot accompanied by the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan visited the exhibition dedicated to the 50th jubilee of the Modern Art Museum and the 90th jubilee of Henrik Igityan. Deputy director of the museum Zara Ayrumyan noted that there are more than 300 exclusive works of art at the exhibition many of which had never been exhibited; Among them are works by Zhansem, Garzu, Minas Avetisyan, Ashot Hovhannisyan, Vruyr Galstyan, Rudolf Khachatryan, the Elibekyans.
The exhibition opened on June 16 and about 2000 visitors have already been here. The exhibition is open till August 12. The project was implemented due to the support of Yerevan Municipality and the National Hero of Armenia Eduardo Ernekyan.
