An action “We remember and demand” dedicated to 130th anniversary of Ruben Sevak was held in the capital
At the threshold of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide an action dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the Armenian poet Ruben Sevak was held in the school N 151 named after him. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at this action having the motto “We remember and demand”.
Before the beginning of the event the guests and the employees of the educational establishment put flowers at the monument to Ruben Sevak rendering the tribute to the memory of the Armenian poet. Within the frames of the event the pupils of the school performed episodes telling about the life and creative activity of the poet, prosaist, physician Ruben Sevak. It should be noted that with this action the series of actions dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide to be held in schools have been started.
