Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan accompanied by Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan, numerous art figures and music loving Yerevanians took part in the ceremony of opening the star bearing the name the member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the RA People’s Artist, composer Martin Vartazaryan in the Alley of Armenian jazz and Pop music stars. Those present presented appreciation speech addressed to maestro Vartazaryan stressing his role in the development of Armenian music art. Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan congratulated maestro on behalf of those present and wished him new achievements. The honour of opening the star was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and maestro Vartazaryan. Congratulating the eminent musician once again Taron Margaryan wished him strong health and creative longevity for the welfare of Yerevan and Yerevanians.
Expressing gratitude appreciation and warm wishes Martin Vartazaryan assured that he will go on contributing to the development and spreading of Armenian music art.
