Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the opening of new yards in Ajapnyak district
Within the frames of the program of proportional development of the capital provided for 2014 complex yard improvement activities are going on in the capital. During his working visit to Ajapnyak district Yerevan Mayor Taron Maargaryan accompanied by the head of the districts and by the residents took part in the opening of the new yards at Shiraki 26,28, 30 and Mazmanyan 18.
All the conditions necessary for full recreation of children and grown-ups have been provided in the yards: bowers, benches have been placed, playgrounds have been constructed and equipped, a water basin has been created and the football ground has been reconstructed .Familiarizing himself with the work done Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated the residents and urged them to care about the areas and preserve it. The residents in their turn thanked the Mayor for caring attitude to the capital and for consistency in improvement programs.This year in Ajapnyak district it is planned to improve 34yard areas. The improvement includes asphalting and paving as well.
“In parallel with yard improvement we pay special attention to green areas protection and expansion. This year due to improvement activities the green areas in Ajapnyak will expand by 15.000 sq m. It’s an important rate for the capital”, said Mayor Taron Margaryan. External lighting system is to be expanded this year as well including yard areas, playgrounds, gardens and the new highway of Silikyan quarter. Mayor Taron Margaryan walked about the area and appreciated how the area of the park built two years ago is cared. Taking the opportunity the residents thanked the Mayor for turning this area into a splendid recreation zone.
