Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation headed by the Mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeni Roizman arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2797” celebration. Greeting the guests and expressing gratitude to them for accepting the invitation Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the present level of relationship between Yerevan and the regions and cities of the Russian Federation, noting that from year to year they become more inclusive and multi-sided.
“I am sure that Yerevan and Yekaterinburg have wide perspectives for cooperation in various spheres of urban economy regarding experience exchange. I hope that your participation in the festival of our warm and kind city will become additional stimulus to establish and develop effective cooperation”, said the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for the invitation and warm welcome Yevgeni Roizaman congratulated all residents of Yerevan in the person of Taron Margaryan on the city day and noted that our nearly three thousand-year-old city is really warm and hospitable. Referring to the perspectives of cooperation Yekaterinburg Mayor highly appreciated the willingness of his Yerevan colleague to cooperate and attaching importance to development of mutually beneficial interaction stressed that he would do his best to promote making the relations closer.
“There are various aspects for cooperation in the spheres of reciprocal interest and I assure you, Mister mayor, that I will do my best to promote development of bilateral partnership”, said Yevgeni Roizman. The mayors of the two cities made an arrangement to discuss possible directions of cooperation as soon as possible.
