Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the RA Tian Erlong. Stressing the high level of current relationship between Armenia and China Mayor Taron Margaryan attached importance to the role of Ambassador of China to Armenia and the RA Ambassador to China.

Outlining the particular importance of cooperation expansion between Yerevan and Beijing Taron Margaryan assured that Yerevan Municipality is open and ready to establish partnership with other cities of China.
Congratulating Taron Margaryan on his re-election at Yerevan Mayor’s office the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the RA Tian Erlong expressed gratitude to Yerevan Mayor for the shown assistance in the issues related to the construction of the new complex of the Chinese Embassy in Armenia.
Attaching particular importance to the willingness of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan to expand the cooperation with the cities of China, the Ambassador offered to form mutually beneficial cooperation with the city of Qingdao which is one of the largest industrial centers of China. Ambassador Tian Erlong also added that in the visit of Qingdao delegation to Yerevan had been scheduled for the end of August which could be a good opportunity for establishment of bilateral ties.
Greeting the Ambassador’s offer Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that the visit of the delegation will give the opportunity to discuss the possible directions and spheres of mutually beneficial cooperation more detailed.
