Mayor Taron Margaryan meets the Ambassador of India to Armenia

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia Yogeshvar Sangvan. Congratulating the guest on starting his diplomatic mission in -Armenia, the Mayor expressed confidence that the warm relationship with the embassy would be continued. Stressing the current high level of Armenian-Indian relationship Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the role of the ambassador of India to the RA and the role of Armenian Ambassador to India.
“Constructive and successful cooperation has been established between Yerevan Municipality and the Embassy of India. Regarding the cooperation between the two capitals it should be noted that in 2008 memorandum of understanding was signed which needs reconsideration so that the cooperation between the two capitals could become more practical”, said Yerevan Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and congratulations the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia Yogeshvar Sangvan in his turn stressed that within his powers he would do everything to contribute to cooperation expansion and implementation of mutually beneficial programs between Yerevan and Delhi.
“I assure you, Mister Mayor, that cooperation possibilities are wide in the spheres of mutual interest and I will do my best for establishment and expansion of cooperation programs”, said Mr Yogeshvar Sangvan.
