Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the gymnasts and their coaches headed by the director of the Children and Youth' sport school of the Olympic reserve of gymnastics after Albert Azaryan, the Olympic champion and the Honorary Citizen of Yerevan Albert Azaryan. Greeting the guests Mayor Taron Margaryan first of all congratulated them with the victory in the current World Gymnastics Championship which took place in the capital of Qatar, Doha from March 26 to 28. ''We become happy with every achievement and victory of our sportsmen in the international championships. Especially taking into account the fact that we have legendary sportsmen in this sport who made our country famous in the world. Today one of this legends rules our Children and Youth' sport school. I wish that under your leadership, Mister Azaryan, our sportsmen will always win and become your worthy followers winning the honorary title of the Olympic champion'', stressed Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and wishes Albert Azaryan in his turn stressed that the Municipality of Yerevan and the Mayor in person have significant contribution to our achievements due to permanent attention and special attitude. ''Our victories in Qatar were really bright. Of the 6 competitions we were able to win three ones. By the way, there were an Olympic champion and the current champions of the world and Europe among the participants I'd like to assure, Mister Mayor, that we are full of enthusiasm to go on doing our best to uphold the honour of our country and our capital Yerevan'', said Albert Azaryan.
Mayor Taron Margaryan once again stressed that the Municipality will keep on supporting the sport school within its powers to ensure the new achievement.
