Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Yerevan policlinic N8. The policlinic which has half a century history serves 50 thousand residents.
During the event the guests were presented the history of foundation and activity of the medical establishment.
On the event of the jubilee of the CJSC “Policlinic N8”, for significant contribution to health care development, for devoted activity Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded the director of the policlinic Armine Harutyunyan with Yerevan Mayor’s Gold Medal. A number of employees of the policlinic received thanksgiving and honorary diplomas of the Mayor of Yerevan.
Accompanied by the head of the establishment Mayor Taron Margaryan walked about the building of the policlinic, familiarized himself with the work done during the last years. The persons in charge informed that the capital renovation and the new medical equipment provided by the Municipality significantly improved the working conditions and the quality of services due to which the number of patients increased.
The Mayor also talked to the employees of the establishment which taking the opportunity expressed gratitude to Taron Margaryan for permanent attention. The Mayor assured that such programs will be continued.
