In the City Hall Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the families of Yerevan team won in “Best sport family 2015” annual competition for the RA President’s Prize. Greeting the guests Taron Margaryan thanked them for representing Yerevan in a best way and winning the cup, and stressed that the goal of the Municipality is to instill the idea of physical education in people, to develop sport promoting this way healthy lifestyle.
“Yerevan families have won in team account for the second time running and have been awarded with President’s Cup and it is really inspiring. I assure you that we will carry on being next to sport loving families and increasing the number of sport achievements of Yerevan. The Municipality has adopted the policy of sport life activation in the capital. In particular, in the four-year program of Yerevan development special attention is paid to heating, renovation and equipment of municipal sport schools, which will certainly give the opportunity to sport loving children and youth to train in comfortable conditions and get achievements both in republican and international competitions”, said the Mayor.
For upholding the honour of Yerevan in “Best sport family” republican competition for RA President’s Cup all Yerevan families participated in the sport event were awarded with Yerevan Mayor’s thanksgiving diplomas and souvenirs. For providing best participation of Yerevan team Yerevan Mayor’s thanksgiving diplomas were also given to the coaches.
At the end of the meeting the RA President’s Cup was given to be kept in Yerevan Municipality.
