Mayor walks about festive Yerevan
Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the small center of the capital where from very morning various events were taking place at 30 stages which unified people of various ages and interests. Expressing their delight to the Mayor the residents of the capital noted that every year they looked forward to Yerevan day when the festive mood reigns throughout the capital. Congratulating those present on the event and expressing gratitude for appreciation Yerevan Mayor stressed that residents' appreciation is the most important aspect for city authorities. Wishing townspeople and guests of the capital high mood Taron Margaryan expressed hope that the festive events organized within the framework of regular anniversary will make the day unforgettable.
During the tour about Northern avenue Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo who was walking about Yerevan joined Yerevan Mayor. Ann Hidalgo shared her impressions of Yerevan with Mayor Taron Margaryan stressing that she really admired the active participation of the residents and the guests of the capital. Paris Mayor also noted that this fact proves that Yerevan day is awaited and loved by everybody.
Expressing gratitude for taking part in celebration and for warm words Mayor Taron Margaryan assured that Yerevan had always been a hospitable city the doors of which were always open for everyone. In some part of Northern avenue where blacksmiths were showing their skills and craft one of the blacksmiths presented Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo his handmade iron flower.
