At the suggestion of Saint Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko together with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan they visited Saint Petersburg Lyceum of Physics and Mathematics, familiarized themselves with the process of education. Presenting the Mayor of Yerevan and the Governor of Saint Petersburg the activity of the Lyceum the persons in charge noted that the Lyceum having more than 100-year history plays an important role in the issue of education and upbringing of the younger education. At the end of the visit the Governor of Saint Petersburg noted that the granddaughter of the great Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan is among the students of the lyceum.
