Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan met with the representatives of a number of organizations carrying out building activity in Yerevan. The RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan, the chairman of Urban Development Council Avetik Eloyan, Yerevan Chief Architect Arthur Meschyan, the chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan and others were present at the meeting.
Attaching importance to such meetings and discussions Yerevan Mayor presented his approaches related to the sphere of investment programs implementation in the sphere of urban development of the city. Hayk Marutyan stressed the importance of participation of business circles in dynamic development of the city economy and outlined that Yerevan Municipality will be the partner and supporter of all investors.

“We must be partners, this is the most important aspect. We are glad when businessmen initiate projects and invest into them. Be sure that we will do our best to support you, and in your turn you must keep all the norms so as your projects never do harm the residents”, said the Mayor.
He Chief Architect of Yerevan Arthur Meschyan expressed confidence that as a result of regulations being made in the sphere the negative perception of the residents referring to construction development in the city will change.
“The city never stops, it is normal. The construction development must be placed into legality and logic frameworks”, said the Chief Architect.
The representatives of construction companies presented some aspects of working with the community, particularly concerning permissions for urban development documentation, final acts and technical conditions expecting simplified systems for developers.
Yerevan Mayor also referred to illegal construction prevention and once again stressed that the Municipality will be consistent regarding illegal constructions and building processes implemented with breaking the norms. Hayk Marutyan assured that everything will be done to simplify the process of legal building.
