New Mobile App to Receive Townspeople’s Complaints to Be Launched by Municipality
A new mobile app will soon be launched to serve as a hot line for residents. Via this app people will be able to address their complaints and problems to the Municipality. During the regular working meeting it was reported that the new app is under development.

In accordance with the decision of the Council of Elders come into force since September, building sites must be furnished with dust absorbing nets. Of 213 residential buildings currently under construction only 11 ones meet the requirement.
Since September, 257 records have been drawn up. A new project of legislative changes is under development. It is designated to consider bigger fines for violations.
Mayor Tigran Avinyan instructed to strengthen the supervision until the legislative package is ready.

After some negotiations with economy entities, 6 illegal filling stations have been dismantled. The process is continued. The Mayor stressed that illegal filling stations are dangerous for surrounding buildings and they must have been dismantled long before, however, they process has started and must be completed.

A special land plot is being walled to expand the tree-planting facilities by 30 hectares. The process is going to be over by the end of the year. A water reservoir for 3000 tons of water is to be constructed here to provide dripping irrigation of the open-air area of the arboretum. Earthworks have been completed, and the construction of the pump station is going to start.

By the end of the year the construction of Minas Avetisyan park as well as the first stage of well-arrangement of the area surrounding Torg Angegh scylpture will be over.

Seismic studies are going on in the buildings at 8/2 and 8/3 of Artsakh street. Resettlement of the residents of buildings 10 and 17 of Arzumanyan street is under discussion.
The Mayor marked that the previous week they had handed the certificates for purchasing flats to the residents of the 4th level emergency buildings at Artsakh street 4th lane. He stressed that the negotiations with the residents of the buildings 10 and 17 in Arzumanyan street had started before the latter, and those negotiations can’t last forever. The Mayor outlined that if there are problems with residents and they don’t agree with the conditions offered, city authorities should switch to other 4th emergency level buildings where residents are ready to settle their problem as soon as possible.

6758 illegal advertisement boards and posters have been inventories in Yerevan so far. During two previous weeks 414 ones were removed, and 1114 entities were notified to make their advertisements correspond to new standards.
Mayor Avinyan stressed that the process will become more effective when the Municipality has GIS maps.
