“Since December up today 60 protocols on illegalities have been drawn up in Ajapnyak district, 45 of which related to illegal constructions on community-owned land plots and 15 – on private land plots. Dismantling was implemented in 34 locations. The number of illegal constructions is rather big, and they are often under criminal groups. At the same time I want to state that we can’t go on this way: we have already outlined our activities, we have a reserve plan which we will implement. And I want to tell our residents that we are strong in our legal approaches”, noted the Mayor.
The announcement of Mayor Marutyan related to illegal constructions contradicting public interest immediately got into the practical phase. Dismantling of illegal constructions is going on at full speed.
“The struggle will go on till we have reached the result: citizens will see this issue only from the point of view of legality and common interest of the community”, stressed the acting staff secretary David Hambaryan.
Relevant subdivisions of the Municipality of Yerevan in teamwork with the RA Police are dismantling the illegal constructions built in the city during the last few days mostly at night hours.

David Hambaryan stressed that he wanted to express gratitude for the support of the RA Police, Yerevan Police Department and the citizens who show responsible approach and stand by us.
Mayor Hayk Marutyan urges all those citizens who have illegally constructed stalls or other sites to dismantle them as soon as possible otherwise the city authorities will do it without giving them any time.
