Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Networked of Energy Services corporation which is a part of Cedrus Enterprises Holding (Lebanon), Ghaith Madi. The company is one of the leading companies engaged in energy saving processes at international market. Presenting the programs and cooperation directions with various international organizations Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that Yerevan Municipality successfully developed the programs aimed at energy efficiency increase.

“Within the frames of “Green City Lighting” programs which is implemented by Yerevan Municipality in teamwork with the Armenian office of Un Development Programs, modernization of lighting systems and installation of LED lamps are being carried out. I'd like to outline that in large-scale programs of road construction we also set a requirement to provide the areas with energy saving lighting”, said the Mayor of the capital adding that currently serious steps are being taken to attract investments and to improve business environment.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the Chairman and the CEO of the Board of NES corporation Ghaith Madi highly appreciated Mayor's approached in the issue of urban economy management and assured that their company is ready to take part in the implementation of investment programs of Yerevan.
“As a specialist of this sphere I'd like to assure you, Mister Mayor, that Yerevan has real potential for development and out company is interested in the implementation of programs in Yerevan. We are ready to present concrete proposals concerning possible cooperation and we hope, they will interest you”, said Ghaith Madi.
Having thanked for the willingness to cooperate Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan offered to form a working group which will discuss and make up the package of proposals concerning possible cooperation.
