The issues related to development of the ties established between Yerevan and Qingdao a year ago, as well as to the programs of investment interest were discussed during the meeting of the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Foreign Relations David Gevorgyan, the head of Development and Investment Programs Department Tigran Sargsyan and the delegation headed by the Vice Secretary General of Qingdao city Government (China) Van Jinshong.
David Gevorgyan expressed confidence that it would become possible to develop effective and mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres of urban development. Tigran Sargsyan in his turn presenting the investment packages worked out by Yerevan Municipality stressed that serious steps had been taken in the capital to improve business environment and attract investments.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and willingness to cooperate the Vice Secretary General of Qingdao city Government Van Jinshong first of all congratulated Yerevan on the 2800th anniversary of foundation and then noted that there is wide field for coopration beteen the cities.
During the meeting the parties made an agreement to carry on the discussions related to the cooperation within the programs of mutual interest.
