The issues related to tourism development were discussed within the frames of the official visit of Lyon delegation headed by Mayor George Kepenekyan to Yerevan during the meeting of the head of Yerevan Municipality tourism unit Gevorg Orbelyan and the person in charge of Lyon Municipality tourism unit Candis Arlen.

Presenting the activities carried out regarding tourism development in Yerevan Gevorg Orbelyan noted that Yerevan Municipality attaches particular importance to the cooperation with partner cities and implementation of new joint projects. He presented his French colleague the model of touristic information center management to be put into operation in Yerevan. Candis Arlen accentuated the hospitality and peculiar warmth of Yerevan and expressed hope that in near future tourist flows between the two cities will increase.
