Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Minister of Moscow Government, the head of the Department of Labour and Social Security Vladimir Petrosyan who arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2798” events.
Greeting the guest Mayor Taron Margaryan thanked him for accepting the invitation and noted that this visit shows not only close partnership between two cities but also warm friendly relations.
“Moscow is an important partner for Yerevan and we highly appreciate the efforts of Moscow Government aimed at cooperation expansion between the two capitals. taking into account the program cooperation carried out within the recent years we should take steps towards further expansion of effective interaction” stressed the Mayor of Yerevan.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the Minister of Moscow Government, the head of Department of Labour and Social Security Vladimir Petrosyan conveyed congratulations on Yerevan's day and warm greetings of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin to Taron Margaryan stressing that it's another good opportunity to discuss further cooperation programs.
“The programs being carried out between Yerevan and Moscow are a good opportunity to solve current problems from the point of view of effective urban economy management. Moscow Government also attaches importance to strengthening bilateral ties and I assure you that in my turn I will do my best to promote further expansion of the spheres of cooperation”, said Vladimir Petrosyan.
The issues related to holding Moscow days in Yerevan in late October were discussed during the meeting too.
