32 kindergartens and 6 policlinics in Yerevan will be overhauled within the frames of cooperation between Yerevan Municipality and the European Investment Bank. The program involves seismic fortification of the buildings and measures aimed at energy efficiency.
The issues related to joint projects were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan with the head of EIB Regional Representation for South Caucasus Maciej Czura.
Mayor Avinyan attached particular importance to participation of international organizations in the development of Yerevan infrastructures and marked that the community is ready to discuss new projects.
Head of Regional Representation for South Caucasus of the bank Maciej Czura offered the Mayor several new programs outlining the willingness of the bank to expand the cooperation with Yerevan and to support it in settlement of various problems.
The parties also referred to the program of reconstruction of the Underground and to the reforms initiated in the transport system.
