The RA President Serzh Sargsyan visited “Quantum” college which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Serzh Sargsyan accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the persons in charge of the sphere of education and the administration of the college walked about the first experimental non-state school of Armenia, familiarized himself with the facilities of the renovated campus of the scientific center which is internationally recognized and with the educational programs, talked to the pupils and the teachers.

In 2011 “Quantum” got the permission to fulfil the programs of International Baccalaureate “Diploma”. The college graduates get a state certificate and those who study by the program of International Baccalaureate also get the international Bachelor diploma which is the basis for entering many leading higher educational establishments of the world without entrance examinations.
At the end of the visit the President of the Republic together with Yerevan Mayor and the minister of Education and Science and the principal of the college discussed the problems related to the sphere of education, the programs of cooperation between the state and the private sector. Serzh Sargsyan heard out the approaches and proposals of the college administration regarding certain problems and instructed the Minister of Education to hold a working meeting with the aim of discussion of the issues of general and higher education.
