During the working visit to Kanaker Zeytun administrative district Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the policlinic after Karlen Yesayan where overhauling is currently going on. Accompanied by the director of the policlinic Anna Sisoyan the Mayor walked about the area and familiarized himself with the process. This policlinic built in the 1950s had never been repaired so it needs capital renovation. It will be provided with up-to-date medical equipment and full service for 43 000 citizens will be available there.
It should be noted that the investment program is being implemented with the assistance of the wife of the RA Honoured doctor Karlen Yesayan, the RA Honoured doctor, benefactor Sarah Yesayan.
“The program of overhauling of the policlinic after Karlen Yesayan is being realized by the Yesayan family. Large-scale work is being carried out as result of which we will have a model policlinic provided with all necessary facilities. The persons in charge assured that by the end of the year all the work will have been finished. Greeting the realization of similar projects by the private sector I want to note that we will carry on our policy aimed at the improvement and modernization of municipal policlinics”, said the Mayor of Yerevan adding that in parallel with the modernization of medical equipment and providing comfortable conditions in policlinics the quality of servicing and caring treatment to citizens will be at permanent focus too.
