The first meeting of the Council of Sport and Healthy Lifestyle adjunct to Yerevan Mayor was held in the City Hall. The Council aims to activate sport life in the capital and boost healthy lifestyle. The Council involves representatives of various sport organizations and experienced specialists. Greeting the members of the Council Yerevan Deputy Mayor Gayane Melkom Melkomyan expressed hope that the Council will have an important role in finding solutions to the problems rooted in the sphere and in the implementation of targeted programs.
During the meeting the members of the Council were presented the activity of the municipal sport establishments, the approaches of the city authorities to their effective management and the programs that need implementation.
