Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Vahe Nikoyan met with the director of “WYG INTERNATIONAL LIMITED” consulting company Richard Barley won the tender for working out the new itinerary network of the capital. The representative of “Ameriа” CJSC and “Fimotions” took part in the meeting. In accordance with the contract signed with the company the new itinerary network as well as the integrated system of ticket selling and tariffs will be worked out soon.

Stressing the necessity of creation of the new itinerary network i the capital Vahe Nikoyan noted that the improvement of the sphere of transport is one of the most important problems the population is worried about which is proved by the results of social surveys. Consequently, the practical solution of the problem is a priority task for Yerevan Mayor.
Presenting the main problems of transport system and the work done by the previous consulting company Vahe Nikoyan assured that within its powers Yerevan Municipality will assist in further activities.
The director of “WYG INTERNATIONAL LIMITED” consulting program Richard Barley expressed gratitude for the meeting and noted that in a few months the company will summarize the results of transport network studies and make a preliminary suggestion related to the new transport network.
During the meeting it was mentioned that in accordance with Yerevan Mayor instruction an inter-department committee will be formed. The suggestions worked out by the company will be submitted to public taking into account their effectiveness and affordable for population.
