During the regular working conference in the City Hall it was reported that repairing of the porches and roofs of the locks of flats is going on in the administrative districts in accordance with the schedule. it was reported that the program and schedule for porches repairing in 2016-2019 had already been drawn up. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to keep the quality of work under rigid control and to inform the residents about the process and further plans.
In accordance with the fixed schedule the second stage of “Vernissage” reconstruction and modernization is going on.
The Chief designer of Yerevan reported that wall decoration in yard areas is going on. Concerning the renovation and repairing of the benches and dustbins it was reported that the work had been over however there are still cases of intentional damaging of benches. The mayor instructed to restore the damaged benches and in teamwork with the police to take measures to reveal the violators and to bring them to responsibility.
“Such treatment to the capital and city property must be punished within the frames of the law. Such malicious cases must be eradicated. So, in cooperation with the police and corresponding units of administrative districts appropriate mеasures are to be taken”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
During the working meeting it was reported that construction of wheelchair ramps is going on in the capital. Within the scope of Yerevan Municipality program, in 2016 it is planned to construct 270 ramps, and about 130 of them have already been constructed. It should be noted that during the construction and after finishing it, the work done is checked not only by the persons in charge but by the representatives of NGOs as well.
