Rights of Kond Residents Will Be Defended: Second Stage of Reconstruction Project to Be Started
The practical stage of the project of reconstruction of Kond quarter is going to start: the community and the executive authorities are discussing the start of the second stage of the competition for the concept and further activities. Some residents of Kond quarter took part in the working meeting as well.
In accordance with the results of the open international competition, seven projects were selected for the second stage. The concept proposals are the ideas and vision of what the Kond surroundings could look like. The most important component of the project is clarification of the houses and surrounding areas of the residents and solution of the problem with property certificates. 900 units of property are registered in the residential quarter.
Which conceptual proposal will become a program to be implemented will be decided during the second stage. The aim of the initiative is clear: to preserve the unique look of the quarter and to harmonize it with the new urban environment and traditions.
