Nork Marash has been recognized the best administrative district of Yerevan
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the sport and cultural event “Yerevan sport summer 2016” organized in sport complex “Jrashkhar” (“Water World”). This already traditional event realized by the initiative of Yerevan Municipality is aimed at making the port life in the capital more active and to promote healthy lifestyle and it has become one of the most popular and awaited events. The event started with a parade of marching teams of the 12 administrative districts of the capital and was followed by show performances. The spectators were greeted by popular singers and dance groups.
During the event organized for the 3rd year running the teams of the administrative districts competed in various kinds of sport.
Nork Marash administrative district was recognized the winner of “Yerevan sport summer 2016” competition. The second place was achieved by Malatia Sebastia district and the third prize went to Nor Nork district. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated the winners and handed them the cups.
Within the frames of the ceremony of awarding were also awarded the teams of the administrative districts won in the competition for Yerevan Mayor's Cup in 8 kinds of sport held within the scope of “Yerevan summer 2016” three-month program of events.
The cup of the traditional yard festival “Healthy generation-protected homeland” was won by Ajapnyak district for the first year running.
