Children's Philharmonic invites talented young musicians to the pops orchestra
Yerevan municipal Children's Philharmonic after Yuri Bakhshyan is starting a new season after the holidays. The Children's Philharmonic also recruits new members inviting the young musicians getting education in music and art schools.
«Yerevan Municipality has provided best conditions for Children's Philharmonic: since December 2013 the Municipality has given this area at Buzand 1/3 to Children's Philharmonic for free use and in 2014 renovated its rooms. Today we just want to increase the number of pupils particularly for pops orchestra: some of the musicians have grown up and been called to the army. When we enroll the necessary number of musicians for the orchestra within two months we will be ready for performances», said the art leader of the orchestra, the RA People's Artist, composer, conductor Melik Mavisakalyan.
The Children's Philharmonic has folk instruments, pop, chamber, brass bands, a choir, a dance group, guitar and vocal classes, a record studio.
