Within the framework of the Energy Efficiency Program of Yerevan the competition for seismic fortification, energy efficiency improvement and reconstruction of 12 kindergartens was announced on June 2.

To implement the program, the community of Yerevan for the first time has taken a sovereign loan from the international donor organization, the European Investment Bank.

It is planned to use the grant allotted by the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) fund and the loan means allotted by the European Investment Bank to carry out the activities aimed at the seismic fortification, energy efficiency increase and reconstruction of a number of municipal kindergartens.
Within the framework of the Energy Efficiency Program of Yerevan the start of building activities in the first groups of kindergartens is scheduled for September-October of this year. After the completion of seismic fortification, energy efficiency improvement and reconstruction the kindergartens will start working.
