At the initiative and special request of Yerevan Municipality, the RA People's Artist and composer Tigran Mansuryan has authored a choral composition for children and youth entitled "Khaghikner". It consists of folk prayers and medieval "Hayrens" (a traditional Armenian poetic form).
This composition on folk themes created by the Maestro will be performed for the first time during the final concert of the 16th competition-festival of music and art schools of Yerevan Municipality, which will take place on June 4 at "Aram Khachaturian" Concert Hall.
