Final rehearsals are taking place ahead of the closing concert of the 16th Competition-Festival of Music and Arts Schools of the Yerevan Municipality. People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, composer Tigran Mansuryan is also present. The concert will be held on June 7 at the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
For the first time, a choral composition for children and youth, created by the maestro and inspired by Armenian folklore, will be performed by about 300 students from Yerevan’s music schools.
