A sport tournament on the international Chess Day
Within the frames of the three-month program “Yerevan summer 2016”, on the event of the International Chess Day, chess, backgammon and draughts tournament was held in the garden of Narekatsi quarter in Avan administrative district. Employees of Yerevan police, members of the Council f veterans of Avan and Nor Nork districts, residents of Avan participated in the sport event. The winners got certificates on behalf of the head of Avan district Manvel Javadyan. In the near future similar tournaments will be held in other sports.
