Within the frames of the Friendship treaty and Cooperation program signed between Yerevan Municipality and Stepanakert Municipality, the delegation of Ajapnyak administrative district headed by Artavazd Sargsyan was in NKR from 25 to 27 of June.

During the meeting with Stepanakert Mayor Suren Grigoryan, the parties discussed the issues related to the process of the cooperation program and the further plans. On behalf of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the computer equipment was presented to Stepanakert Municipality.
The next meeting took place at the city library after Muratsan and a number of books were granted to the library. The delegation of Ajapnyak administrative district paid the memory tribute to the Armenians fallen for their homeland. During the working visit to the NKR, within the frames of the cooperation memorandum signed the previous year between Ajapnyak district of Yerevan and Shushi administration, the members of the delegation met with the head of Shushi district Vladimir Kasyan.
The results and future plans of the cooperation were discussed. The staffs of Shushi administration and the Town Hall of Shushi were presented computer equipment and benches. And two kindergartens of Shushi were presented furniture, children’s games and bed-clothes. The working visit was finished with a meeting with the soldiers of the military unit based in Shushi. The military unit was presented a TV set and the soldiers guarded the front-line positions were given symbolic presents.
