In 2024, all sodium lamps in the courtyards of the capital were replaced with modern LED lamps. 10,198 LED lamps were installed in Yerevan and 83,000 meters of cable were replaced.
The external lighting network was modernized on Leo, Kristapori, Catholicos Vazgen I streets, and on Baghramyan and Komitas avenues.
At the same time, the overhead wires on Acharyan, Myasnikyan, Vardanants, Amiryan, and Hanrapetutyan streets were installed underground.
