During his working visit to Nor Nork Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan accompanied by the head of the district familiarized himself with the conditions of the new playground constructed in the area adjacent to the building at Boryan 4/1 of the 1st quarter in Nor Nork and with the sports ground adjacent to the building at Nansen, 7. The improved yard areas furnished with benches, children's playgrounds, sport equipment and football grounds have been put into operation. Having thanked the Mayor for systematic realization of the program of yard improvement mentioned that the yard areas which had been neglected for years today have replenished the number of well-arranged yards. In particular, instead of the playground at Boryan 4/1 there used to be a neglected «kitchen garden». The results of the work done are visible. In his turn expressing gratitude for appreciation Taron Margaryan once again stressed that the program of yard improvement is among the priorities of the Municipality and it will go on till all the yards of the capital have been improved. «According to the program of proportional development of the capital 47 yard areas have been planned for improvement in Nor Nork district. The yard areas are chosen taking into account how much space there is in the yard and how possible the improvement is. The areas have been occupied by residents or with garages for years. Before beginning the programs we negotiate with the residents then they free the areas by their own means and we start the process afterwards. Attaching importance to healthy lifestyle promotion we have been providing the yard areas with sport equipment. Besides, we have been constructing mini-football grounds and I believe out policy will give results», said the Mayor of Yerevan. Taron Margaryan also communicated with the residents, heard out their proposals and assured once again that the suggestions and approaches of the residents will surely be taken into account.
