Within the frames of the program “Yerevan summer 2015”, on July 2 the traditional citywide yard festival “Healthy generation-protected homeland” started in the capital. The festival includes 7 kinds of sport: droughts, chess, volleyball, handball, cycling, basketball, football.

As the Unit of Sport and Youth affairs of Yerevan Municipality informs, before starting the citywide stage the teams of 12 administrative districts competed with one another and the winners compete in the city lap. The main aim of the event is to spread healthy lifestyle among teenagers and young people. The participants stood out with special sport abilities will be admitted to the sport schools of the capital.
The champion team of administrative district will be awarded with Yerevan Mayor Challenge Cup. The teams won in separate kinds of sport will also be awarded with cups. The three best teams will get medals and diplomas.
