The ice-rink at Swan's Lake is open
The Swan's Lake has been again turned into an ice-rink for those who are fond of figure skating, winter sports and active leisure. The opening of the 11th season of the ice-rink was announced by the show performances of the pupils of Irina Rodnina figure skating school.
Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan was present at the event expected by the townspeople.
«The ice-rink certainly contributed to figure skating and ice hockey popularization and gives a peculiar charm to winter Yerevan as well. Besides, it has become a component of the sport and cultural life of the capital», said Aram Sukiasyan.
The ice-rink is open every day from 11.00 till 23.00. Technical break is from 16.30 till 18.00. Beginner skaters will be helped by skilled sportsmen.
Skating at the ice-rink costs 500 drams per hour, in case of renting the skates -1000 drams per hour.
