The Department of Children and Social Protection of Yerevan Municipality continuously assesses community needs to develop solutions that provide targeted support. As part of this effort, a new initiative has been introduced to create a unified and effective social service system.
International best practices have been carefully studied. In particular, the Yerevan–Cambridge sister city partnership provided an opportunity to explore Cambridge's social services model and evaluate the possibility of adapting it for Yerevan.
A draft project outlining the introduction of community social services has already been developed, along with the complete documentation package required to launch the organization.
Yerevan Municipality is committed to expanding access to modern and effective social services for all city residents.
