The design package for Yerevan’s 11th metro station “Ajapnyak” has received a positive conclusion of the state comprehensive expertise. This development marks the transition to the next phase of the project, which includes the Government of Armenia’s approval of full financing, the initiation of the land alienation and resettlement process in the affected area, and the preparation of the construction tender.
The project’s progress and forthcoming steps were discussed during a meeting between Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and Valerii Abramson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Metrogiprotrans.”
The investment package has already been submitted to the Government of Armenia and is currently under review by the Public Investment Committee, chaired by the Prime Minister. In the near future, the Yerevan Municipality will also officially circulate a draft resolution recognizing the project as a matter of overriding public interest.
Mayor Avinyan commended the productive cooperation established with “Metrogiprotrans” and expressed confidence that this effective partnership will continue throughout the construction phase.
