The music and art schools of Yerevan are being replenished with new string, brass and percussion instruments. Yerevan Municipality started the process of purchasing new music instruments in 2017. In 2019, 50 million dram was disbursed for purchasing 110 pieces of 27 names of instruments.

According to the director of Sayat-Nova music school Tigran Hekekyan, the assistance is really vital. The head of Yerevan Municipality culture and tourism department Gosh Sargsyan noted that for the first time a competition was held for the procedure of purchasing. He also added that the program promotes education quality increase in art and music schools.
