During the regular working meeting in Yerevan City Hall it was reported that the defects in asphalt covering caused by the activities carried out by municipal programs as well as by “Yerevan Jur”, “Yerevan gas”, “Electricity lines of Armenia” and by private companies, had been mainly eliminated.
As a result of the control carried out in the sphere of urban development 5 cases of illegal construction and land occupation were revealed last week. Dismantling has been carried out at 2 locations.
It was reported that within the frame of the control set jointly with the Road Police over public transport means 16 records had been drawn up 7 of which were for parking of other vehicles at public transport stops.20 road signs were restored and replaced with new ones, road marking wasdone. Within the frame of the announced safe traffic month strengthened control is going on in the areas nearby educational establishments. It was instructed to keep the timetable of public transport under everyday control.
Concerning street venting prevention it was reported that during the previous week 17 administrative reports had been drawn up. Regarding obligatory improvement and landscaping of the adjacent public areas by entities it was reported that during the inspections made in 7 administrative districts 23 reports had been drawn up. The persons in charge and the heads of the administrative districts were instructed to take all measures within their powers. Concerning revelation and prevention of the cases of waste dumping in inappropriate places it was reported that 61 violations had been revealed the previous week and disciplinary measures were taken.
Landscaping, grass mowing and irrigation activities are going on in the capital. The process of import of flower seedlings to be planted in 2016 is going on too.
By the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the work related to life-support system is going on in Nor Kharberd living district of Shengavit district. It was reported that construction ofthe external lighting of the area. To solve the problem of drinking and irrigation water supply new water lines and pumps are being installed. Besides,all the anticipated asphalting has been finished. With the aim of electricity supply new posts are being installed, new substations are being constructed. It should be noted that a gas line has already been constructed due to which the problem of gas supply has been solved. The persons in charge were instructed to go on consistent work.
