Nighttime Yerevan is undergoing a transformation with new lighting. Since 2024, approximately 620 million AMD has been invested in this project. As of January 2025, the program to improve lighting systems continues in the city. Over the span of three months, at least 20 streets and 2 neighborhoods have been modernized. Old lamps are being replaced with state-of-the-art LED lights. This initiative aims to create comfortable living conditions for Yerevan residents and ensure high energy efficiency. As a result, residents are enjoying a more comfortable living environment, and electricity consumption has been reduced by at least 50%.
