Greening of the road leading to Yerablur pantheon and the whole area of 4.5 hectares started at the end of last year.

The aim is to provide multi-layer green zone in Yerevan. Only today 1700 plants were planted. They are mostly deciduous shade trees as well as pines and junipers.

The road leading to the military pantheon used to be dry and empty. The trees planted this March have already stuck. The main problem is timely and proper irrigation: water reaches this area through water pipes passing a few kilometers.
This year tree planting is carried out by a few stages. 5000 trees and more than 100.000 bushes are to be planted this spring.
Previously planted and old trees are taken care of as well.
Proper irrigation is the most important aspect of restoration, preservation and expansion of green ones in Yerevan. In 2021, 15 km of new water pipes will be installed and another 15 km of already existing network will be renovated. New approaches in landscaping will be applied to provide proper greening throughout the year.
