This year’s program of purchasing new elevators is to increase by 10%
426 elevators are to be replaced with new once by the community means in 2022. During the regular working meeting Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan instructed to increase the volumes of the program by 10%. The first consignment of the new elevators is already in Yerevan.

A new building will be constructed for the Children and Youth’ school of Gymnastics of the Olympic Reserve after Albert Azaryan. The community has a spare territory near “Hrazdan” stadium and it will be used with this purpose. The Municipality of Yerevan is going to announce the tender for design.

A number of measures are taken jointly with the UNO partners to modernize the illumination of the buildings of Republic square. Simultaneously, the program of modernization of external lighting in yard areas are going on.

In May of 2022, the rate of revenue collection has increased by 34% in comparison with the same period of last year. In some administrative districts revenue collection was even exceeded. The Mayor was reported that generally, the rate of revenue collection does not exceed 90%. Attaching importance to proper organization of the process the Mayor outlined that the performance of revenue collection must be ensured so as to implement complete implementation of all anticipated projects.

Last week the Saturday clean-up was held in Nor Nork district. It was reported that 15 problematic zones were involved in the action. This week sanitary cleaning is planned in Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district.
