Starting from 2023, the replacement of the ventilation systems in the metro has begun to reduce the relative humidity of the air, provide clean air to the stations, and expel smoke in case of emergencies (such as fires). The old systems, which had not been replaced since the metro's operation, had worn out and become unusable. As part of the project, 14 new ventilation systems were installed. The devices are more energy-efficient, reducing costs, and more convenient in terms of management.
The project also provided an opportunity to protect the infrastructure from deterioration and ensure their smooth operation.
