The building of the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet is going to have creative architectural lighting. Modernization works have already started. The architectural masterpiece created by A.Tamanyan and located in the heart of Yerevan, will be illuminated with about 394 LED floodlights, and new 4960 meters of electrical cables will be installed as part of the project.

The buildings on Mashtots Avenue have been provided with decorative illumination. On the section from Grigor Lusavorich Street to Koryun Street, 200 small LED lights, 100 large bulb lights, and 250 medium-sized LED lanterns have been installed.

In the last three years, a completely new 45.8 hectares of green space has been added to Yerevan, and 5 urban forests have been laid as well. The new green zones include:
•    8.5 hectares at the Tsitsernakaberd hill,
•    4 hectares in the Saralanj area adjacent to the "Victory" park,
•    15 hectares on the slopes near Yerablur,
•    7 hectares in Nork’s gardens,
•    1 hectare in Avan,
•    2.7 hectares in “Paros” forest zone.
The remaining areas are parks and gardens.
85 km of irrigation system have been built and renovated, and the tree survival rate has reached 94%.

59 rotten, old and damaged trees have been removed from Melik Adamyan Street, and in their place, 82 spherical catalpa trees have been planted. These trees are widely used in urban greening. They grow well in sunny or semi-shaded areas, are resistant to different soil conditions, are disease-resistant, and do not cause allergic reactions.

As part of the public investment program, the procurement of 250 new electric buses, the reconstruction and modernization of two depots, and the construction of up to 230 hectares of urban parks in Dalma Gardens and the reconstruction of a selected main road into a segregated transport route with related service infrastructure are under discussion.

During the last week, the total number of validations fixed in the ticketing system amounted to 2,401,169, including 83,932 in trolleybuses, 505,917 in the metro, and 1,811,320 in buses.

The project to declare the fourth section of the circular park as an area of priority for reconstruction has already been discussed once in the government at the ministerial committee meeting. Based on the suggestions and comments raised, the project is in the phase of revision. In parallel, to efficiently organize the process of alienating the property in the area, the “Yerevannakhaght” company has carried out new measurements of the existing property to align them with the existing schemes in the certificates.
